The Kite Festival is a week long event crammed with activities and events that you will enjoy participating in. Over 40,000 people attend the festival and there are lots of games at the beach throughout the week. The Fireworks Festival is another event that you must see. There are fairs and crafts from all over the region and artists sharing regional works during many of the festivals taking place throughout the year.
If you like motocross on the beach, sunbathing, or swimming the wide, shallow, sandy beach at Weymouth provides a perfect location. Each year there are the International Handball Championships that brings participants from all over the world. The Annual Beach Volleyball Classic is a great way to enjoy watching professionals play or to learn how to play the game and join in the fun.
