Various syndromes of the hand such as carpel tunnel for one, are the cause of much pain and suffering. The pain is arthritic in nature, numbness is also another sensation that one can experience when you have these syndromes. This condition can also appear in both hands. There is a school of thought that feels this could be due to lack of infra red light. For this reason many people who suffer from these conditions use infrared therapy as a method of treatment to alleviate these symptoms.
